Its all about the bridge again.

As forecast, yesterday was a drizzly day, we had thought to hire bikes and go off for a ride on this very flat island but decided against it. Instead we went up to the top to the lovely little town of Ars en Re' and then afterwards down to our beach again. As the tide was out we could walk out to the oyster beds and over towards the bridge.
A really nice meal out last night, l had risotto with gambas washed down with a cheeky pink.
We leave Ile de Re' this morning and head north to St Jean de Montes, we had hoped to get the ferry out to the island of Yeu but won't be there in time, will go to Noirmoutier-en-l'lle instead.
