Green and Gold

We don’t seem to have had many “spare” days between us recently but today was one, so we decided to go to RSPB Old Moor. We were disappointed that we missed out on a few of the birds that had been reported, but we still saw a lot of lovely ones. It would have been useful to know the collective term for Great White Egret, as there were an unheard of EIGHT reported - of which we saw 5. (see extras for 3 of them). There is a Dabchick or Little Grebe in there too, but for my main photo, I’ve gone for Green Plover - also known as Lapwing or Peewit, and Golden Plover.
