Last Day in the UK!
Well the time has come for us to pack up and make our way back to Texas. This trip feels like it has been a long time, we all felt it was months since we first arrived. Not a bad thing as we feel like we have really been able to enjoy so many good moments, funny, serious conversations, great views and lovely walks. It will be good to see the family back in the US and also the BG family, who have continued to do us proud with our best month since Covid in September and October looking even better.
So grateful for the friendly and helpful service we get from Mike at Southern Motor Homes who takes care of any issues with the Black Knight and then stores the van for us until we turn up again in Bracknell. Also thanks for the amazing helpful LV who picks us up and drops us off again and in the meantime we have such good times with. Extra is of the siblings about to tackle the steak dinner - T-Bone for the 2 men and L with her ribeye. Had to post a picture of the Aviator Dessert - really great chocolate mousse with all the added extras. The hotel has not let us down in 3 visits and it is a fitting end to what has been a wonderful break and journey from UK - France - Spain - UK - Wales - UK (Cornwall) and finally we head out to Heathrow in the morning to board the enormous Airbus 388 that takes us back the US.
