Banks-Vernonia Bike Trail

We finally loaded our bikes up and drove out towards the coast to try out the beautiful bike trail joining the small towns of Banks and Vernonia.  It’s a forty mile round trip but we only did half today because we got a late start, and though some of the trail is heavily treed like this, we also biked through open farmland. 
Grateful for…Oregon’s dedication to building bike paths. It’s not Holland, but it sure is close!
