Surveying his kingdom....

A rainy start to the day but thankfully it cleared by the time I had to wander out to post a few things!! And then did a detour via the woods for some green therapy which is always very much appreciated! Got to say hello to some horses as well!  And this lovely magpie - I saluted! - looked cool against the autumn colours in the background.  There was still a bit of a mist around in the woods despite clearer skies elsewhere which made it more magical - and there were signs up too to warn walkers that a local senior school would be using the woods tomorrow for a cross country race... rather them than me!!

WE also had smart meters fitted at home today so Dad is trying his best to resist the urge to monitor them every minute!!
