Autumn Beauties

Earlier in the year we joined the Historic Houses Association and we have had our money's worth out of that investment.  One of the local properties available to visit as part of the scheme is Winterbourne House, an Edwardian Arts and Crafts house and garden close to Birmingham University and part of their facilities now.  It was originally owned by the Nettlefold family but has had a few owners over the years.  It is a beautiful oasis very close to the city centre.  The tea room is very well used and it is just a fabulous place to wander around and sit and think.  We will go again.

I saw Dad today - he seemed a little bit more aware today.

It was good to get out in the fresh air.
