A walk in the wood

Only an iPhone shot for today. I had quite a good day yesterday but today’s been a bit more difficult. Not as difficult as a week ago, and probably not as difficult as Kwasi Kwarteng’s last 24 hours, flying back from a meeting with the IMF in the USA, to be sacked as Chancellor by Liz Truss on his return.

As one wag put it, straight from arrivals to departures.

In the meantime I had to laugh when I learned that the Daily Star now have a live feed of a lettuce and a photo of Liz Truss, to see which one will last the longest. My money is on the lettuce - those iceberg lettuces have a long shelf life….
