Birthday Boy

Herb is 82 today.  He’s just decided to take my extra walking stick on walks so now we are really 2 old folks tapping along.   One of our favorite walks along the Sound…before the smoke got too bad.  It’s supposed to be “unhealthy” through monday!     Then he wanted to see one of his granddogs and family so we brought cupcakes and had a chat with Peter, Fiona and Maple which was also worth recording since it’s been awhile. Fiona (who has new braces in extra) ) was getting out the halloween skeletons for the porch display. (a later blip I'm sure....) And in a little while it’s a zoom with H’s brother and sister in law.   A very fine day we had.  We very much appreciate each one we receive.  We are hoping to have the "annual" family fall birthday  (there are 5) party later this month (which hasn’t happened for a couple of years! ) close to halloween.
