A totally British golf cart

Nice Sunday today, not rushed like some. Went for lunch at the Club and spotted this golf cart waiting there. I've seen this one around DB several times, usually on the road so not able to get a shot, but there it was waiting for me. So I asked for permission and was allowed to take the picture.

This is a one of a kind, decked out golf cart. The owners are obviously very patriotic!

Just FYI, golf carts in DB now cost HK$2.2m, ie. £182,000, yes £182K. Or HK$11,000 to rent per month!!! Needless to say, we use the bus or better still walk. They were half the price when we arrived here 7 yrs ago!!! There are only 500 of them in DB for a population of about 17,000 people. Also DB is an environmentally friendly enclave and cars are not allowed here. Hence the very reliable buses and ferries. Residents here are pretty health conscience and quite fit, I'm working towards being fit - a constant work in progress ;-)
