Mae'r amser hwnnw eto... Aethon ni i'r dre ar y bws ac yn crwydro o gwmpas yn edrych ar lawer o bethau (ond yn prynu ychydig iawn).

Rydyn ni'n hoffi'r holl arddangosiadau Nadolig, goleuadau, addurniadau ac yn y blaen. Maen nhw'n dweud bod byd arall yn bosibl, gyda llawenydd a chyfeillgarwch.

Mae'r golygfeydd tref Nadolig yn arbennig o ddiddorol.  Rydyn ni'n dweud, efallai, yr hoffen ni'n byw mewn lleoedd bach gydag amgylchedd naturiol. Ond nid ydyn ni'n byth yn adeiladu lleoedd fel hyn.

Yn lle rydyn ni'n adeiladu ystadau mawr, blociau o fflatiau, ffyrdd prysur, gyda cherbydau sy'n llygru, ... ac rydym yn parcio ein ceir ar y palmant. Mae'n siomedig.

Weithiau rydw i'n meddwl hoffen i'n gweld datblygiad tref sy'n adlewyrchu ein breuddwydion, neu gweld golygfeydd tref Nadolig sy'n adlewyrchu ein realiti byw.

It's that time again... We went into town on the bus and wandered around looking at lots of things (but buying very little).

We like all the Christmas displays, lights, decorations and so on. They say another world is possible, with joy and friendship.

The Christmas town scenes are particularly interesting. We say, perhaps, we would like to live in small places with a natural environment. But we never build places like this.

Instead we build large estates, blocks of flats, busy roads, with polluting vehicles, ... and we park our cars on the pavement. It's disappointing.

Sometimes I think I'd like to see the development of a town that reflects our dreams, or see Christmas town scenes that reflect our living reality.
