A quote from Faye Dunaway whose picture appears very large on the wall of the new Everyman Cinema in the St James Quarter. The image is the famous photo taken by Terry O'Neill the morning after Dunaway won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the film Network. I was in town with my sister and her partner. While they looked round the shops in the St James, I wandered round the building. Later J and I went to Stockbridge, via the building site that was my old place of work. Things have moved on since the last time I was there (see extra). In Stockbridge I was impressed with the new development at the Edinburgh Accies ground - somewhere we used to play hockey back in the day. They have built a new stand along Raeburn Place, incorporating a new clubhouse to replace the old one and a row of shops on the street, which presumably help to pay for it all (another extra). In the evening we went to Foresters in Porty for a meal - although the food was a little slow to arrive, when it came it, and rest of the service, were very good.
