Fly me to the moon

A rainy start so we did a few jobs indoors. After lunch the sun was out so we did our usual Cromarty loop.
Lots of birds at Udale Bay as the tide was coming in.
Saw a kestrel fly by setting up lots of the smaller birds.
We could still see the moon and I managed to get this shot as the geese flew by.
On to Cromarty , they were getting the boats out for the Winter so that was interesting to watch. They were using a huge crane ,taking bits at a time.
We parked up near the Lighthouse as the road was closed and Mike walked down to the slaughter house to get some Hot Chocolate.
The Tug boats were bringing in a large barge ‘thing’ , slowly chugging through the Sutors and past us.
We watched a programme about the rising of the Mary Rose. I think I can remember watching it live when it happen 40 years ago. Very interesting.
Then we watched a film called Wild which was good too :)
