Dunnock
The dunnock has to be one of the most common birds in our garden, I see at least two when ever I look out. They love hopping about in the undergrowth and have quite a nice singing voice as well as chirping to each other.
It was a lovely sunny morning and we would have gone out to enjoy it but we were waiting for a delivery. Mike got a text to say it would be delivered at 9 which was great , nice and early , but 9 came and went, so did 10,11 until we got a call at 1 to say it would be delivered by 2. We think the first text must have meant delivered to the delivery van. We only received half the order too so Mike’s sent an email to hopefully get that sorted. Tried phoning but no response or at least an hour wait !
An ‘ interesting’ day politically with Liz Truss ‘sacking’ the chancellor , throwing him under the bus as some reported. What a mess , hope it gets sorted soon but there’s nothing we can do about it.
Sad to hear that Robbie Coltrane has died aged just 72.Such a great actor.
Finished watching The rings of fire, I think I understood everything , it was ok not sure it was worth all the money spent on it though.
