Joanna and I had two walks today - the first around Dunscore and the second at Dalswinton. It was so still down by the lake that it felt as though the world was holding its breath. The leaves are just starting to turn - the beeches (main photo) are still mostly green.

We had a fun time looking for fungi - found some Clouded Funnel, Red Cracked Boletes and Earthballs. (extra)
