our daily bread

I took Sarah to the station this morning. It will be 7 weeks until we see each other again, not too long but long enough.

I had asked her to bring up a little of the sourdough starter which she and Chris use to make their bread. I don't make bread in the summer,, so its one of the things I look forward to when October rolls around. Remembering how from just flour, water, and salt, you can get a lovely loaf like this one. Mixed in the morning, baked in the evening :-)

I went to Aquaerobics once I'd said goodbye to Sarah, and then in the sauna, and finally to shop at Lidl. A bit of gardening in the afternoon, and making the tea.
