Done!

Promise, I won't post anymore as I've completed this now.   Any more tinkering is likely to be a step too far.  Tomorrow will inform the person it's ready and work out how to hand it over without the birthday boy seeing it yet.

I need to find something completely different to do on my afternoons this week now.

Next pick up the knitting which is growing.  The beauty of chunky yarn is a quick result.
