Canal Dream

I have wanted to travel along the London canals in a narrowboat and today it happened. Neighbour Ian took a small group of us through the east end from Limehouse and onward through Camden and Regents Park finishing at Paddington basin. 

There were several long tunnels along the way. As we neared the exit of each one there was a sense of anticipation as to what might be revealed. 

We had a collection in aid of St Francis hospice, Romford, and raised £150. Thanks to all who came along.
