Surfers Walk da Beach

A fine sunny morning, with clouds passing, and then there was the odd heavy showers passing.  Winds picked up throughout the day.

A lazy Sunday morning, and then headed for my late shift in the airport.  A fairly busy day of passengers, mostly returning home from their holidays.  A mix of check-in desk and meeting and boarding flights.  Edinburgh was late, so a busy spell with three flights to deal with at the one time with limited weekend staff.  Walkies with Sammy after work, and now feet up.  Reports about Northern Lights out, see if I can be bothered to go have a look.

Day two of the Scottish Surfing Federation competitions.  I headed over to have look on my lunch break.  Sadly with the calmer day, came calmer waves.  I watched for a while, but they were mostly bobbing about in the water, trying to catch the small waves rolling in, before the heat times out and they headed back to base.  A group of surfers heading back up the beach, Westvoe, Sumburgh.
