Panorama above Llyn Brenig

Slow start on a beautiful sunny morning! Drove over towards Llyn Brenig and turned off to park near a cycle track, along which several cyclists passed by with numbers but not racing! Sunday morning riders! Couldn’t see the reservoir from where we parked but soon walked down and over a little ridge and there it was, very low level.

As we walked we saw a flock of birds flying up from a reedy area with another bird flying low , slightly larger which was probably a hen harrier but no pictures. Too far away! By the lake there is a platform for ospreys. It was good to be out on the hillside in the fresh air and getting some exercise. I was very glad I had brought my wellies with me as it was boggy in places. Dave got wet feet!
