Something strange in the saffron bed.

I snatched an hour to transport some of the leaf mould up to the allotment.  I also planted out some stray plants that have been lurking in pots in the polytunnel and elsewhere on the plot.  So added a few alpine strawberries and violas to the edge of the saffron bed.
I have 16 of 20 saffron crocuses through now, but I'm not sure what these white shoots are - they look vaguely crocusy (is that a word?) but definitely not the same as the others.  I will let them grow on and see what develops.
