Mono Monday

I do enjoy monochrome photography, but I have not participated in any of the Mono Monday challenges for several months. This week’s theme is a tree but not a forest, so I decided to create this image of a maple that I found in my local park. This tree has vivid red leaves during this time of year, but this black and white image highlights the rough texture of the bark instead of the autumn color.
