I do miss my Witch Hazel

Hamemellis are grown for both the scented, winter flowers and their autumn colour.  Some go yellow, some orange, some red and some go through all colours in this beautiful way.  In the Norwich garden I had one of these.

A nice day for a drive to Birmingham.  Bella dropped off, Meg walked, the kids off with their mum for a few days.  I drove back to spend the night with Celia and Iain at the windmill.  Their garden beautiful as always.
