Suspending Disbelief
I'm having to do a lot of that at the moment, every time I watch or read the news coming out of Westminster.
This particular leaf was suspended by a very fine web, you should be able to make it out if you look closely. Spotted on our walk around Sherborne today.
In other news it's grandson Joe's 4th birthday today. We were thinking about going down to Wapping on the train, but we decided against it, for a very good reason which I can't go into. We are not cowering under my desk. We did speak to Joe earlier and sang happy birthday to him, which apparently got the thumbs down. He wanted us to be there today though, but we explained we will be there for his Halloween themed party at the end of the month. He wants me to go as a zombie! That shouldn't be too difficult. We have cake for today and are hoping for a Zoom or Skype later when Rory gets home from school.
In other other news our new iron has been dispatched and will be here tomorrow. We are very excited.
