Sneaky Camel

Musical May absolutely failed today. Lets not even attempt to make some vague connection between that and a camel, shall we?

I was on campus, in the library, working, at 6.30am today. Got 4 solid hours in, before going out for a day trip with Photosoc to the West Midlands Safari Park! Yay! Thanks again Eve for organising, and Shane and Ali for driving the minibuses :). Spent most of the day with Anu which was really nice. It was nice too to break the cycle we're all in in this exam run up, and escape for a few hours. The zoo was cool, despite it being ridiculously full with people - I guess that's what you get for going on a bank holiday Sunday haha.

I kind of failed getting any spectacular animal photos which was a shame - all of them seemed to either include fence/railings/other cars driving round. But I thought this Camel was great, sneakily stealing food. The hippos were great too, but I think Camel wins. It was a great day, and we had ice cream in the sun. Did another good hours worth of revision whilst in the minibus stuck in safari-traffic (so much for a few hours away from work!) and had an hour-long power nap on the ride back :)
