Walking the dogs

Here is Pierce posing on our evening walk. I saw the brother chain harrowing. He was telling me that quite a bit of the grass had died in the hot weather so they have used a special implement that cuts the ground open and drops in the seeds behind so therefore they are sowing more grass into the existing crop. Then it gets rolled and then finally chain harrowed. Then hopefully there will be a good crop next year enough to feed the cows.
