Magnolia stellata
It is the season for magnolias in Edinburgh. Even with the cool spring we are still behind the south. This is in the garden of our Church. With the first warm day of spring it was lovely to be out in the garden.
I tried a few shots of the blooms with the steeple behind, trying different focal lengths. Some came out well but this shot shows the range of delicate colours so merits the blip. The rest of the day was mainly spent in the garden and transplanting the ( slowly growing) seedlings. But nothing as lovely a this to photograph.
