I think this is Manna Ash?

Well according to Picture This. It’s in Mote Park where many ornamental trees were planted a couple of hundred years ago by the park owners. A great legacy from them to us.

I went for a run, first for a month. It was a lovely morning and the fine weather continued into the afternoon when we went to the allotment. In between times we walked in Mote Park.

The day was abruptly interrupted when Susan tested positive for Covid. She felt a little tired but not poorly enough to walk or weed at the allotment.. She thought it was a cold.

That’s really put a dampener on the weekend as Chris is over from California from yesterday til a week on Tuesday. He’s in Manchester until Friday and was travelling to Kent on Saturday. We were all going to have Sunday and Monday with him and the family.

In addition Susan’s sister was travelling down to see Doreen on the Sunday. All plans on hold to see how Susan and I react over the coming days. I think the Uke Festival was the culprit.
