Final walk

Having done a lot of packing after Nick returned from his last day of fishing, we didn’t have too much to do this morning so we had plenty of time to give Bertie an enjoyable Borders walk before we headed for home. We had a very good journey with lots of rainbows along the way as we passed through sunshine and showers.
When we drove off the ferry at Craignure we were confronted by enormous queues of cars, trailers, motor homes and support vehicles from the Mull Car Rally which had been happening at the weekend. They were all trying to get off the island but there were so many of them that I think some of them might have been spending another night on Mull.
