And Quiet Flows the Allan Water

Our wee Scottish town  and Allan Water river is an oasis of calm unlike the bear-pit that is Parliament.
 
This is what Alan McGuiness, a political writer, had to say on Twitter tonight: 
 
“My son has lived through four chancellors three home secretaries, two prime ministers and two monarchs.
He’s four months old”.
 
If our Prime Minister, Liz Truss, is still in No 10 this time tomorrow it will be little short of a miracle.
