Sibling Love

We had a very productive day. I got up early, made country sausage and hubby cooked himself eggs. We decided to clean a table and chairs set that we keep in the basement for the kids. They looked great again. Some of the grands have made us art work over the years. We finally put them on the wall today. Skylar has to stay at school late for theater so she asked me to whip up a meal and deliver it. I had to pick up Brooklyn from school anyway for a dental appointment so I left a bit early and went to Sky’s school first. Grabbed Brooklyn a treat on the way. I had time for a power nap while waiting for Mancil to get to the bus stop and then we headed to the dentist. As you can see, this is homecoming week; he dressed up for character day. Silly kid. I think Brooklyn was embarrassed but she always stands by her brother. Kim met me to get Brooklyn who has both basketball and soccer practice tonight. Mancil decided not to get a numbing agent so I could take him to Chipotle after his appointment. I’ll drop him off at his house to finish out my tasks. Hubby cut the lawn while I was gone. There were simply too many leaves to leave on the lawn until we get back. Dinner will be easy which is good because the day is gone. Hope your day went as well. Thanks for dropping by. Stay safe. “Brother and sister, together as friends, ready to face whatever life sends.

holding hands tightly as we dance through life.” - Suzie Huitt
