When life gives you lemons...

... nick one and run off with it to see if it's edible.

Turns out this lemon WAS edible. Bear decided it was pretty good and wouldn't let anyone take it off him! (I had a quick taste once he'd finally given it back and actually it was pretty yummy. Not a horrid bitter taste like regular lemons. It had a really lovely sweet and sour gorgeousness, no wonder he liked it!)

We went out this morning with the grandparents intending on going to the Amberley Working Museum but it is apparently not open on Tuesdays so we went to the Black Rabbit (an especially nice pub) for a spot of lunch and a run about. The boys learned about throwing reed-javelins into the river from their Grandad, and then learned about tides when the river changed direction and brought all their javelins floating back!

The Arundel Wetlands wasn't far from the pub so we went there in the afternoon and had a wander around the place, finding millions of ducks and a couple of families of ducklings (Bean was scared of them, Bear fed them - I'm sure that should really be the other way around), and then two neat little play areas too which the boys loved.
