Pulsatilla albana

A small flowered species which can be shades of yellow or purple and grows wild in the Caucasus and Turkey. It is an undemanding garden plant here, enjoying the free draining soil and slowly making a nice clump as the plant matures. It's only a few inches high, nowhere near the size of the more commonly grown Pulsatilla vulgaris. My plant was raised from seed a few years ago.
