Windsor Castle

We have a friend staying who had never visited Windsor Castle, so that was our destination today. I'd forgotten just how much there is to see - the Great Hall, the State Apartments, St George's Chapel. No photography is allowed inside but plenty of exterior views. There were crowds of visitors so it took a long time to get round, particularly in the Chapel where we filed past the engraved slab marking the burial place beneath of the late Queen Elizabeth ll, but well worth it.
