Filter beds.

This is Crummock Water where the water from the lake becomes the river Cocker.  Water flows over filter beds. This a photo again from a few weeks ago taken early in the morning.  Crummock Water was the lake most of the homes in West Cumbria got their water.  Shortly, that water will come from Thirlmere.
I went to camera club last evening and had a chuckle with my friends who teased me about 'milking' my fall!.  All part of the fun.  We all did well; I won the raffle and got a highly commended.  The day ended well for me.   Take care.
