Harrington

The other day I took a photo of the Solway Firth at Maryport.  The water was its usual brown sandy colour, but not today.  You can  see the water is certainly blue.
This is what is now called Harrington Marina, but was once an industrial area.  That has long gone-factories, foundries, coal mines and houses.  It is now a large recreational area.  To the left of this photo is a children's  play park.
