The same

This morning I made a batch of ginger biscuits. They are easy to make but,  to ensure that all the biscuits are the same size, I divide the mixture into 36 pieces and then weigh each piece so they are equal weight. I am sure no one else would do this, but I do feel a sense of satisfaction as they emerge from the oven - all the same.

Gordon sees this and is incredulous that anyone could be so fussy. Later he makes a batch of bread rolls and comments - I wish they would all come out the same size!!

Yes, we are baking, making beds etc. as we have family arriving tomorrow.
