Cast Off

Another midday wander in the woods. At least the light was strong enough that handheld shots were not a problem. Although to cope with the dynamic range I excluded the sky.


I came across this old grass roller (at least that’s what I assumed it to be), which made for a good foreground element. Being a circle, it is a bit of a bullseye, hogging the attention, and now I wonder whether there might have been a better composition.


I’m not keen on Sony’s colours, the green looks cold. I will have to do a comparison shot against the Fuji some day.
