World Polio Day

Today is World Polio Day. This Blip is dedicated to those who work tirelessly to help to combat this disease.

The fund raisers, the donors, the inoculation workers who are often at great  personal risk, the medical professionals, and most of all, those who have suffered and are still suffering.

It is also United Nations Day. 

And the first day of Divali, the Festival of Lights which celebrates “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance"

The world could do with a lot of that right now.
