Camera-shy Bumble Bee

I tried to capture a shot of a large bumble bee that was zooming round the garden yesterday, but every time I took out my camera it disappeared. It did the exact same thing today, but fortunately I spotted a smaller bumble bee (about a third the size of the big one) hiding in the grass and despite its best efforts to hide under some moss, I got it.

This blip is the last picture I took of it as it flew away a split second after I took this shot. The other half dozen pictures all have the bumble bee with its head under a bit of moss and bits of grass across its back, so I was lucky to get this photo just as it emerged.
