Storks and tartes !

Storks have been a part of Alsace for centuries and are still returning here each year ( now actively encouraged). They are a symbol of happiness, faithfulness, fertility and luck. Tarte flambée is à regional speciality- like a thin pizza base spread with a variety of toppings often involving crème fraîche. I had a lovely one with pumpkin. A lazy day today... Lovely salad lunch outdoors, bit more exploring and dinner in, playing our new game - ticket to ride. Extras: blipped in Colmar today.
