Great Day (Another One)

Sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding, fried bread, sourdough toast and a cafetière of coffee was a great start to the day before we set off to Exeter.
We arrived around midday and parked in the offsite parking before catching the shuttle bus into Sandy Park. Our passes put us in the centre of the East Stand, standing, we took our places right on the half way an hour before kick off which was probably as well as the stand filled to capacity quite quickly.
Great game to watch and up close it was easy to see why Saracens are described as “hard to love”, gamesmanship, celebrating good kicks, penalties etc as though they had won the world cup, they won with the last kick of the match.
Shuttle bus back to the van and a five minute trip to IKEA where we spent approximately £3 a minute for the hour we were in the store.
The plan had been for meatballs in the restaurant for dinner but as it was closed we settled for a couple of hot dogs with chips and a soft drink at IKEA’s takeaway before heading back down the A30 to home.
Coffee before bed, another long day to come tomorrow.
