On The Road Again
Hubby had an annual check up on his artificial knee at 7:30am. The doc says everything seems to be a-ok. I packed the coolers (breakfast and produce), cleaned the kitchen, finished laundry, and showered. Skylar will stay at the house for a few days so the kitties get more than one meal. I gathered breakfast items for her; my DIL will make her dinner plates. Hubby got the kitties all set up and off we went around 9:20. We still needed a rotisserie chicken and super salad for tonight’s dinner, fresh bread, milk, bananas, etc. We found a Roy Rodgers and had a small steak and cheese sub and salad for lunch. Thought I’d share some of our views on the way. It was really hard to limit the collage to 12 cells. As you can see, it was overcast part of the trip and then the sun appeared in the brilliant blue sky. Seems we made more stops than planned; we should get to the farm by 6:45 pm. Thanks for dropping by. Not sure how cell reception will be. We only plan to go to town on Saturday. Stay safe. “It was, as I have said, a fine autumnal day; the sky was clear and serene, and nature wore that rich and golden livery which we always associate with the idea of abundance. The forests had put on their sober brown and yellow, while some trees of the tendered kind had been nipped by the frosts into brilliant dyes of orange, purple, and scarlet”. - Washington Irving
