A shopping expedition

Yesterday was a family day culminating in a family dinner and rain which fell in almost biblical quantities. By this morning the storm clouds had gone and day was mostly quite sunny and warm for the season.  This morning I went the Zeus09s Mum to visit not one but two garden centres. where we managed to leave with not a single plant between us, but not empty handed.  I bought a couple of items thinking ahead to December and yet more Halloween items, some of which are featured here, all rather wonderfully selling at half price.  
Many thanks to all who commented on and gave stars and even a heart for the the rather purple toad that I featured on Saturday.  I did try to undo the strange colouring that PS Elements inflicted on Miss Toad but even in the new replacement photo I fear that she is still rather brightly coloured!

In other news: we learned today that Rishi Sunak is to be our new Prime Minister.  We have yet to see how that pans out but he surely cannot be  worse than the last incumbent.
