Faded and disappointing

We drove an hour to Hollywood this afternoon to be “Immersed in a Tutankhamun experience”. And what a load of crap it was too: a triumph of hype over content. And here’s me expecting a British Museum type exhibition . Ah well; lesson learnt. I think the only things the girls learnt was all that we had explained to them in preparation. Don’t waste your money. To add to the disappointment, the Hollywood walk is shabby, dilapidated, and populated by otherwise homeless tent inhabitants many of whom are drugged or inebriated. Elinor’s words summed it up “ I don’t think I want to come to Hollywood again.”
