Rishton canal path view toward Whalley.
The Feast Day of St. Crispin and also of St. Crispinian.
Each God given new day gives us hope to seek and find the good Lord in the midst of it all.
This morning, being 14c and very beautifully sunny and dry, Paul and me walked slowly and steadily on the canal tow path towards Blackburn, but stopped before we got as far as Whitebirk.
The various green Autumnal plants, are turning now to gloriously tri - colour hues, those being mostly yellow, russet and orange. We appreciated the peacefulness and seeing ducks, gulls, people who were walking their dogs and two cyclists. There were other people walking near Bridge 106.
It is a vast Canal and River Trust responsibility to keep the canal well maintained as best they can, ongoingly, and the tow paths in good condition.
I was pleased to walk with Paul, a path I would not normally walk alone, as it is quite far away from Rishton town.
We decided to walk through the Cut Wood Park on our way home.
The water level in the Rishton reservoir is a slight bit more than my last blip of it, but still not it's optimal water level.

Have a happy day and thanks for visiting my site today.
