Pernettya

Walking up the road from the optician this afternoon I spotted these white pernettya berries growing in the garden next door to my former home. A fairly low front wall meant I could lean over, without difficulty, to take my photo.

If the optician had given me drops there would have been no berry blip. Fortunately, for me, I have very large pupils and don't require drops but I always walk just in case.

After a very wet start to the morning the weather turned and we enjoyed a very sunny morning with temperatures reaching 17°C. It was still very sunny in the afternoon but it turned very windy andmy acer tree is now leafless.
