Halloween

CyclopsJnr wanted to do some Halloween crafting, and Grandma had sent some ideas from a magazine - thanks Grandma! - so that was handy.

We made a Halloween banner/bunting thing with the letters of Halloween threaded along a piece of string and skull shapes at the ends. We used a hole punch for the stringing holes which was a great novelty for CyclopsJnr. He now has Christmas crafting plans to make 'snow' using the punched holes.

We also started two pumpkin lanterns made from boxes. CyclopsJnr designed the faces and MrsCyclops cut them out, then CyclopsJnr painted them orange. We will add finishing touches another evening, once they are dry.

CyclopsJnr also made two 'Happy Halloween' bracelets (one for his friend V).

Now it is post half term the kids are in winter uniform. MrsCyclops much prefers the smart and fit-for-purpose winter uniform with the trousers and the sensible coat. See extra.
