Shredded!

This is what the leading edge of a squally shower did to some of the higher up banana plant leaves.  A few years ago I was also dog sitting for this same friend.  When I got there the garden was lush and tropical but we had an unexpected overnight sharp frost and all the leaves just collapsed into a slimy mass.  It's what happens to these plants they die right back every Winter and regenerate in the Spring.  No bananas though!
