Another mild beautiful day with just occasional short showers. Lots of dog walking and stable fartnarkling, including setting poles up in a double diamond for field schooling as per last months Horse and Rider magazine recommendations .
The orchards are dripping with fruit right now . I love this time of year and apples , I ate 4 different types of eating apple and one mild small cooker on this mornings walk!! All different all excellent today. I think there’s a sign somewhere in the eco village saying we have over a hundred different Irish native apple trees here, I must have tried over 40 in the last month - next year I’ll keep track , if I haven’t turned into cider by then :0)
