Did something I’ve never done before …. Didn’t tighten my saddle after first 5 mins . Pony spooked at pheasants , spun round and I slid sideways ….. got to the tipping point of no return and …..thud. Just got foot out of stirrup as she thundered off . She’s not one of those ponies who stays , she heads to the gate by the thick lush grass that she’s not allowed !
Home for a hot bath with cups of Epsom salts and along with the Difene gel eased the hip, back, shoulder and neck just fine . Phew .
